Anyone and everyone, young and old!
Our workshops are open to learners of all ages, but some workshop instructors may request that children under a certain age have an accompanying parent or guardian present.
When registering younger children, please use your judgement in deciding whether a workshop is appropriate for your child!
Learning is most effective when it takes place in a hands-on and interactive setting and when it occurs in direct collaboration with others.
All of our workshops are taught by passionate instructors with years of experience in their craft, and nearly all of our workshops have a hands-on component.
In many cases, you'll be walking away with a tangible object reflecting your new skills -- whether those skills are in biology, gardening, or robot programming is entirely up to you!

First and foremost, a big THANK YOU to our teachers!
We've also been very lucky to have excellent partners and mentors.
A huge thanks to Anca Mosoiu and Tech Liminal for hosting our workshops.
Many thanks too to Dale Dougherty and Make, who've helped connect us to workshop leaders and participants at Maker Faire and through the Make blog.
